Bonnie Joan's Story
Bonnie Joan is from Las Cruces, New Mexico. upon graduating from LCHS she attended NMSU for 1yr and recieved a scholarship from the National Board of Mission given by NMSU Wesley Foundation to work and do community service in Los Angeles, Calif.Her team of exchange students were housed on the campus of USC a place Joan feel in love with and decided to attend school there at USC.
After leaving USC Joan moved to New Jersey to work and was assigned to a job with the Job Corps in Iowa.
While in Iowa Joan met her husband to- be who was coaching basketball part-time for the Cleveland ,Ohio Job Corps, they were married in New Jersey and later had two daughters in Cleveland,Ohio.After about 10 years there her husband job transferred the family to Rhode Island.After spending 4 yrs there they were transferred to North Carolina.After being in NC a few years she divorced, worked in the Funeral business and went to Real Estate School
Joan got her Real Estate license and ran a sucessful business for 23 yea...Expand for more
rs . After 9/11/2001 the market and the world changed Joan went to work for The Dept. Of Homeland Security and retired in 2012.
After retirement she moved to Fla.to be with her partner and enjoying life.
She is so loving be a grandmother (Nana). Only one grand child and wish for many more ,but seems as if if isn't happening.
Her desire is to get back in shape and PLAY TENNIS AGAIN.
Bonnie Joan's interests include civic activities, music (listening), cooking and staying healthy. Music she likes includes , all from bluegrass to classic but no Rap Crap. Books she likes include Janet Evanovich.J.D.Robb,John Grisham and Nora Roberts. She enjoys love movies,romantic adventures,peace and quiteness. One of her favorites is attending Professional and College Sporting events,including hockey,track,basketball,and football.
